Early Talent Identification Program (ETIP)

The Early Talent Identification Program (ETIP) provides rigorous enrichment experiences for academically gifted students in order to prepare them to thrive in highly competitive primary and secondary school environments. The ETIP team is committed to developing the whole child, to creating pathways of equitable opportunity, to providing quality academic experiences and to inspiring and cultivating talent.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

ETIP Session Information

Join us for this year’s ETIP Summer Experience, offering six unique weeklong sessions designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and inspire young minds. You can enroll your child in as many sessions as you'd like—each session is $225 per child.

Session 1
June 9 – June 13: Environmental Justice & Sustainability

Students will explore environmental issues from both local and global perspectives. Through hands-on activities and meaningful discussions, they’ll learn about sustainability and the vital role communities play in promoting environmental justice.

Session 2
June 16 – June 20:
Global History, Featuring Juneteenth

This session offers a broad overview of world history, from ancient civilizations to modern times.

A special focus on Juneteenth will help students understand its historical significance and relevance today.

Session 3
June 23 – June 27:
STEM Exploration

Through interactive projects, students will dive into science, technology, engineering, and math. They’ll solve real-world problems, build critical thinking skills, and experience the power of STEM in action.

Session 4
June 30 – July 4:
Civic Engagement & Community Leadership

Students will examine the challenges facing their communities and explore how they can make a difference. They'll gain leadership skills, learn about activism, and discover ways to become engaged citizens through service and collaboration.

Session 5
July 7 – July 11:
Computer & Reading Literacy

This session strengthens both digital and reading literacy. Students will build confidence using computers and software, while also boosting reading comprehension and analytical skills essential for academic success.

Session 6
July 14 – July 18: Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Students will explore the basics of entrepreneurship, from economic principles to business planning. Through creative exercises, they’ll develop innovative ideas to solve real-world problems—and gain the mindset of a future changemaker.

The ETIP Summer 2025 Program

In collaboration with the Paul Quinn College Urban Research Initiative, the 2025 ETIP Program will focus on the ETIP core subjects while exposing students to the knowledge and skills that will equip them to understand the inequities that impact their own communities. Kindergarten – Eighth grade students will participate in daily activities from 9:00am – 5:00pm including athletic experiences, academic classes and hands-on workshops.
